Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded the accused custody to Trim District Court next week
A 27-year-old man has appeared before Navan District Court charged in connection with an incident in Dunshaughlin two days ago.
The accused, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was charged with alleged burglary and trespass with intent to commit an arrestable offence, rape at Lagore Lawns, Dunshaughlin.
Detective Garda Shane Dervan gave evidence of having arrested the accused.
Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded the accused custody to Trim District Court next week.
The judge directed that the accused receive urgent medical and psychiatric treatment while in custody.
