Doctor with ‘special interest in penises’ assaulted male patients while giving them sexual health check ups

A DOCTOR with a “special interest in penises” has been jailed for sexual assault.

Under the guise of performing medical examinations, a sexual health doctor has been sentenced to six years in prison for sexually assaulting his male patients.

Dr Timothy Girling, 55, from West Molesey, Surrey, has been convicted of three charges of sexual assault against four patients, six counts of voyeurism and one attempt of voyeurism.

The sick Doc also pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent images of children.

In a “gross betrayal” of trust, Girling would sexually assault and perform sex acts on the patients under the pretence of examining them for complaints of rashes or other health issues.

A jury at Bournemouth Crown Court that he also secretly filmed the appointments with his iPhone and had set up a camera to film other men using a bathroom.

Despite earlier complaints about his behaviour, Girling had carried on offending, said Judge Jonathan Fuller KC.

He had also shown “weird” behaviour of photographing men urinating in alleyways, but this did not form part of the charges.

Rebecca Austin, prosecuting, told the trial Girling was “using the guise of medical necessity to gain sexual gratification”.
