A CRUEL carer who used a gran as a “golden goose” and rinsed her of £300k before going on the run has a secret new life of luxury in Tenerife, The Sun can reveal.
Fugitive Pamela Gwinnett – dubbed “The Black Widow” for her crimes – has left locals and neighbours in the Brit tourist hotspot fuming as they demand she turn herself in.

Pamela Gwinnett is reportedly living in a penthouse apartment in a sunny town on the south-west coast of Tenerife instead of being behind bars in the UKCredit: Supplied

Tragically, Joan died in 2022 after spending her final years being ‘bullied’ by the woman who was supposed to care for her
The heartless 62-year-old, originally from Adlington, systematically plundered thousands from retired accountant Joan Green after setting herself up as the pensioner’s carer.
She then spent money she stole from the “frail” 89-year-old on an Audi Q2, expensive meals, designer clothes, mortgages and Botox.
Gwinnett was arrested for fraud by abuse of position and theft, but released on bail.
She applied for permission to fly to Tenerife, claiming she needed to scatter her brother’s ashes, which the court refused – five hours later, she was on a plane and fled the UK.
In her absence, the cruel monster was sentenced to six years in prison at Preston Crown Court – and the Judge Michael Maher called for help from the public and press to bring her back.
But The Sun can reveal the fugitive is hiding in plain sight, flaunting her freedom by sunbathing and going to bars in Tenerife.
Fuming locals told The Sun they recognised Gwinnett from her mugshot.
And they told us they want her dragged back to the UK and locked up for her vile crimes.
