The Taoiseach will bring more than a bowl of shamrock to the White House this year. That these Irish companies would be making these investments regardless of who was US president doesn’t matter. What matters with this president is the appearance of monetary wins. Very good move from the Irish government side, as was giving the story to the Wall Street Journal.
