A serial Rapist with previous convictions for stalking and attacking women has been sentenced to five years in prison for Raping an 18-year-old woman, after a court heard that he has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and a mild intellectual dysfunction. Mr Justice David Keane said that he had to take the defendant’s cognitive ability into consideration when passing sentencing. The court heard that the defendant is at “high risk of Sexual Reoffending”.
