Coming up on the show live at 12pm : The International Energy Agency has found that residential electricity prices in Ireland are three times higher than the wholesale cost. In other words we are being ripped off and the government are doing nothing to stop it, in fact increased, excise duty, VAT and carbon taxes from the government are compounding the rip off. Will you have trouble paying your heating and electricity bills this winter? What should the government do to resolve this issue of clear price gouging and rip off? Judge Martin Nolan suspends a paedophile’s sentence in full. Judge John Hughes gives Paul Nolan a 10-month sentence for a video he took and posted of asylum seekers on a public street, because asylum seekers are a protected class under Irish law. From this, we can deduce that purposefully downloading videos of children as young as 3 being raped and watching them for personal gratification warrants a slap on the wrist. But if you so much as approach a plantation centre and record people as they enter and exit, you’re deemed a danger to society who acts in a “premeditated and targeted” fashion warranting a custodial sentence. The Irish legal system is upside down.
