Protesters tear down barriers along the Grand Canal, is Protest for the Irish People, No, this is for the Migrants, and yet our own Homeless live in hedges, under railway bridges, doorways, and other dangerous areas across Dublin. I don’t see the so called lefties speaking about our own but let me say this IT IS ELECTION YEAR AND PEOPLE ARE DESPERATE FOR VOTES – let them earn them. My point is simple here, One Voice for All and do not be selective ie Migrants In while Irish Homeless are Out. Dublin, pleasant weather today but the City has become bedraggled, dirty and dowdy. It has lost its characters and characters. The people on the streets are the intrepid travellers with their backpacks ticking all the places recommended and this gives them a tourist experience which is quite distinct from the people who choose to “Travel”. The new Lord Mayor has to motivate the businesses, as former Lord Mayor Carmencita Hederman did in the 1980’s. We need to stop conveyor belt tourism and encourage people to be travellers.
