Why are people blaming Yemen’s Houthis for cutting the Red Sea cables? Al Jazeera. Comment: Island of Ireland, surrounded by sea, has its own trove of telecommunication cables and we must not forget that before the Ukraine war, the Russian military ships entered our waters for “military exercises” and were asked to leave by a gathering of fishermen. The world is clinging on to peace, we need to negotiate.

Comment: the pull out by the Americans and UK from Afghanistan was appalling as people sought to exit from Taliban & they clung to the wings of the planes, falling to their deaths. Gaza goes beyond this barbarism. Women and children will starve, if not already murdered by Israel. Proportionality … why are we tolerating this crime of destruction of a race of people?
