Bodies of two women found dead in Wexford in separate incidents as garda launch enquiry

The bodies of two women were found dead in separate incidents in Co Wexford on Monday.

Gardai were alerted to a residence in Enniscorthy where a woman was discovered deceased.

Her body was taken to Waterford University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí attended to a residence in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford on Monday, 14th November 2022 where a female was discovered deceased. Her body was taken to Waterford University Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Enquiries are ongoing.”

The second woman was found dead in Gorey on Monday.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí were alerted to the death of a female in Gorey, Co. Wexford on Monday 14th November 2022. A file will be prepared for the Coroner.”
