THE eldest son of celebrity chef Rachel Allen appeared in court today charged with dangerous driving.
Joshua Allen, 26, did not speak when the case relating to an incident in east Cork last October was called in Midleton District Court.
Sergeant Majella O’Sullivan told Judge Miriam Walsh that a file is currently being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
She asked that the case be adjourned until May 14, when DPP directions are expected.
Defence solicitor Don Ryan consented to this date.
Mr Allen, of Ballinamona, Shangarry, is charged with dangerous driving at Monagurra on October 27.
Who Watches the Watchers? 
Maybe he’s acting out because of the situation with his grandfather who was convicted of having child born but is still living in the family home. That would seriously mess with anyone’s sense of justice.
