Sabouni Abdelhamid (32), who never lived in Ireland, claimed to be the son of Catherine Corridan, originally from Caherdaniel, Co. Kerry, murdered in London in 1994, aged 31.
The Algerian was arrested at Dublin Airport in 2025 using the fake passport he successfully obtained online from the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs [DFA].
Sunday World reports that in 2023 an Algerian, Sabouni Abdelhamid (32), while living in London obtained an Irish passport from @dfatirl after applying online and claiming his mother was a Kerry woman murdered in 1994. @PeterPaulGuy @karldeeter @_QueenMeabh @TheMandyGall



“Nothing more sinister” than wanting to live in Ireland?! He cynically posed as the son of dead people, including a poor woman who was murdered. It’s disgusting.
