We have a Homeless Crisis in Dublin, but also let us not Forget, there are certain people making a lot of money on the backs of the people sleeping in Hostels, and other properties. “Fit for Purpose” is something Owen Keegan, Dublin City Council, failed to talk about when interviewed on Newstalk. We need to ask people who have tents (and supplied by who) why they do not take up the offer of beds (which are now supposed to be available) and you will be told they need to beg for the cost of their bed which so often leaves them exposed to others who don’t obey the rules, who engage in drug taking and often are inebriated from cheap alcohol. Ireland needs to take account of these citizens because unlike many who travel abroad; these people spend all that they have in Ireland and this means they pay tax indirectly. Bertie is a Member of the Dublin Men’s Sheds also; well done Lads; back on with the Wellies soon, hopefully. I do not think Bertie would be Allowed into the Merrion in his Wellies but then as he has been expelled from his own party FF, it is improbable that he would have been invited to the Elite MerrionGate Bash. Totally baffled why Bertie never got the option of returning to the FF Party. The Crash happened and we survived. Bertie was involved in the Good Friday Agreement; so he deserves Credit and his understanding would definitely assist re Brexit.
