We have a Homeless Crisis in Dublin, but also let us not Forget, there are certain people making a lot of money on the backs of the people sleeping in Hostels, and other properties. “Fit for Purpose” is something Owen Keegan, Dublin City Council, failed to talk about when interviewed on Newstalk. We need to ask people who have tents (and supplied by who) why they do not take up the offer of beds (which are now supposed to be available) and you will be told they need to beg for the cost of their bed which so often leaves them exposed to others who don’t obey the rules, who engage in drug taking and often are inebriated from cheap alcohol. Ireland needs to take account of these citizens because unlike many who travel abroad; these people spend all that they have in Ireland and this means they pay tax indirectly. Fred has something to say about this.
