Over the past 12 months, more than 700 people living in Ireland have been identified by gardaí as the perpetrators of sexual abuse against children online.

An Garda Síochána has been using technological solutions to catch an increasing number of sexual predators who are grooming and abusing children via the internet, according to one of the country’s most high-ranking gardaí.
